Tenda uses a standard Realtek chip. Microsoft’s generic Realtek driver works for 5 minutes, then crashes. The specific Tenda driver keeps the power management stable. Also, turn off "USB Selective Suspend" in your Power Options, or the U1 will disconnect when your computer tries to save power.
