The stitch length dial on the front of the machine controls how far the feed dogs move each cycle.

Pull thread from the overhead cone stand through the top guide holes. Pass it down through the upper pretension guide disk. Route it clockwise between the main primary tension discs.

Route the thread down and around the main tension discs from right to left. Ensure the thread sits deeply between the discs.

Insert the bobbin into the bobbin case. Pull the thread through the slot and under the tension spring.
